Meet the Team
Eric Andrew Carter
CEO, Chief Consultant
Eric Andrew Carter is a conceptual artist and a native of Los Angeles. He has worked variously as an actor, theater producer, photographer, musician, and artist. He has also been employed as a business analyst at a major international bank where his analytical mind and creative ways of thinking have proven indispensable.
Eric has worked as a solo artist as well as in collaboration with a variety of visual and performing artists. It was at the California Institute of the Arts that Eric discovered his passion for developing conceptually-driven work in a collaborative environment. By being in a place where he could spend hours a day talking about art, his own creative process took an exciting new shape and focus. It is this experience at CalArts that inspired Eric to form a company that would use the artistic critique as a business model.
Eric founded Conceptual Art Consultants in order to share his passion for ideas with other creative professionals.
Allison M Keating
Partner, Senior Consultant
Allison M Keating is an artist and generator of provocative multimedia live performances and immersive installations, a director of experimental theater, a director-for-hire, an artist curator, a producer, and a production designer with 14 years of professional experience.
Allison grew up in Pittsburgh and London. At 15, she stared at a Chuck Close painting for two hours. She later moved to New York to receive her BFA from New York University’s Tisch School for the Arts. Allison has expansive artistic interests and endeavors, but has always maintained a commitment to experimentation and community building. She began her career within the rich avant-garde tradition of New York theater as a production designer before moving into directing, curating and media art. She received her MFA from the California Institute of the Arts in 2014. Allison has traveled extensively across Asia, Europe and America, and has a natural curiosity and a non-conformist intellect. She is now based in Los Angeles so she can hike more.
